| The Cotswolds is well known for gentle hillsides, outstanding countryside with river valleys, water meadows and beech woods,
sleepy ancient limestone villages and historic market towns, where time has stood still for over 300 years. Our base for this tour,
Banbury is a historic market town famous for its’ Cross, cakes and ‘Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross’ nursery rhyme. Banbury
is a vibrant mix of traditional and historic town against a backdrop of modern living. The narrow streets and hidden lanes of historic
Banbury form part of a historic town trail. |
Banbury House Hotel
Landmark Georgian 3 star property only 5 minutes walk
from the bustling market town of Banbury. Each bedroom
has hairdryer,TV, tea/coffee making facilities and iron with
ironing board. The hotel has a cosy bar and lounge, ideal for
relaxing after a busy days sightseeing.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Depart Aberdeen 0700hrs. Continue to Banbury,
our base for six nights.
Day 2 – CotswoldTour including Moreton-in-Marsh, Stowon-
the-Wold & Bourton on Water –the ‘Venice of the
Cotswolds’.
Day 3 – Day trip to Oxford, home to honey-gold buildings,
dreaming spires and centuries of history. Afternoon visit to
Blenheim Palace – home to the Churchill Exhibition.
Day 4 – Day at leisure in the market town of Banbury.
Day 5 – Royal Leamington Spa & the Heritage Motor
Centre.
Day 6 – Stratford Upon Avon.
Day 7 – Sadly today we return home. Arrival in Aberdeen
approx 2000hrs. |
