Itinerary
Day 1 – Depart Aberdeen at 06.30hrs, make our way to Stranraer via the
Red House in Coupar Angus, to meet the ferry to Belfast. Travel to Dublin
for a two night stay.
Day 2 – Today we explore Wicklow, with the opportunity to visit historic
Glendalough and the famous Powerscourt Gardens.
Day 3 – Departing Dublin after breakfast we head into Kildare and visit the
Irish National Stud including the Japanese Gardens. From here we make
our way to Midleton on the outskirts of Cork for 1 night.
Day 4 – Blarney village and castle this morning before we travel to Killarney
for a 3 night stay.
Day 5 – Excursion round the beautiful Ring of Kerry.
Day 6 – Day at leisure in Killarney.
Day 7 – Depart hotel and head into County Clare where we visit Bunratty
Castle & Folk Park where 19th century life is vividly recreated. We continue
to our hotel in Ennistymon for two nights.
Day 8 – Today we enjoy a scenic drive into Northern County Clare. From
the sheer Cliffs of Moher into the Atlantic, to the stark moonscapes of the
Burren.
Day 9 – Travel through five counties through the Midlands to Monaghan.
Day 10 – Up to Belfast for our afternoon ferry to Stranraer. Stop in
Coupar Angus for high tea, and arrive in Aberdeen around 2100hrs.
