"Nature" wrote one visitor, "appears in her wildest dress" in these, Britain's most northerly islands, and it is indeed the wildness and grandeur of the Shetland landscapes and seascapes which inevitably become the visitors most enduring memory.


Itinerary Day 1 – 1700hrs Depart on MV Hrossey or MV Hjaltland from Aberdeen with dinner on board. Settle into comfortable low-berth en-suite cabins for 2 nights Day 2 – 0730hrs Arrival in Lerwick, Shetland followed by breakfast on board. Depart ship for day tour of Shetland with your local guide. Visit the outstanding site of Jarlshof in the south, Scalloway Castle & Museum and Shetland’s famous ponies; lunch at leisure in Lerwick. 1730hrs Depart on MV Hrossey or MV Hjaltland, for Aberdeen; dinner on board and overnight. Day 3 – 0700hrs Arrive in Aberdeen; breakfast on board.
